The Texas Leadership Scholars program started accepting applications for its Fall 2024 cohort. You can quickly apply for this fall before the deadline.
Selected students will have their tuition and fees fully covered for all four years of their college education, as long as they attend a participating institution and continue to meet the program’s requirements. Additionally, they will receive a stipend to cover the average cost of room and board at their university.
Beyond financial support, students in the Texas Leadership Scholars program will have access to a network of peers, mentors, and more. The program includes a living-learning community for the first two years, peer, corporate, and alumni mentoring, as well as opportunities for undergraduate research experiences.

Eligibility for applying for Texas Leadership Scholars program Scholarship
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated leadership and service in their community
- Strong academic record and ability
- Demonstrated financial need
- Graduation from an accredited Texas high school
- Acceptance to a participating four-year institution
The Texas Leadership Scholars program started with its first cohort of 250 students in Fall 2022 and grew to 300 students in 2023. For Fall 2024, the program plans to select 250 students.
